I am a consumer of Arizona Green Tea, and I drink it daily because green tea, along with ginseng and honey, is some of the best natural immune boosters.

If you haven’t tried it yet, you should as it can give numerous health benefits to your body.

Green Tea and Ginseng are two important things while we talk about good health.

Green tea is full of antioxidants, and Ginseng has innumerable health benefits. When you combine these two with Honey, the effect is sure going to be synergized.

But let me tell you that I find freshly prepared green tea with Ginseng and Honey at home different from the canned one. Besides these two options, there is also an option in powder stix available on the market.

Is Arizona Green Tea Good or Bad for You?

The short answer is: Arizona Green Tea is good for you.

You can benefit from drinking Arizona green tea in several ways as it is beneficial for the entire body. It protects your brain and eyes from free radical damage. It is good for your cardiovascular health, prevents diabetes, strengthens bones, increases the metabolic rate, and boosts your energy levels. The antioxidants in the tea will carry out free radical scavenging and help you detoxify your body.

Arizona Green Tea is good for you as long as you don’t overconsume it and start gaining weight due to surplus calorie intake.

Now let’s try to understand why Arizona Green Tea is good for you.

  • Antioxidants. Green tea contains large amounts of Vitamin C and antioxidants that can protect the body against free radical damage. Free radicals are unstable atoms that cause cell damage, illness, and aging.
  • Cardiovascular Health. The anthocyanins in the tea improve your cardiovascular health and metabolic function in the body. Arizona green tea has beta-blocking compounds, diuretic compounds, and calcium channel blockers that protect you against many heart diseases.
  • Diabetes Prevention. Arizona green tea contains anthocyanidins that help the body in normalizing blood sugar levels and improve glycemic control. Its anti-inflammatory properties also help diabetes type 2 patients.
  • Bone Health. The catechins in the Arizona green tea increase bone density and strengthen the bones.
  • Prevent Brain Damage. Arizona green tea contains a flavonoid called epicatechin that can cross the blood-brain barrier and protect the brain cells against free radical damage.
  • Good For The Eyes. The catechins also protect the eyes from oxidative damage and prevent vision loss.

And before going any further, if you didn’t know, Ginseng tea alone has many health benefits.

THE CANNED or READY TO USE VERSIONS (usually with added sugars)

Arizona Green Tea Canister

In this canned green tea, there is a high amount of added sugars. It contains HFCS, which is a High Fructose Corn Syrup. A large number of products that you consume contain HFCS.

For your information, High Fructose Corn Syrup is a highly processed ingredient manufactured from surplus corn. Manufacturers use HFCS as a cheap alternative to sugar.

I am not a person with a sweet tooth. So for me, this tea is a little too sweet. The natural sugar and added sugars will make it taste extra sweet to you.

Although the taste is very refreshing, I prefer the slightly bitter taste you get in any homemade green tea with Ginseng. Plus, the sweeteners like HFCS in food are becoming the sole cause of rising obesity.

Please note that there are available canned versions of this tea made without added sugars!

Moving on to the positive part, I will tell you the benefits of Arizona Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey.

Benefits

  1. First on my list will be the reusable packaging that the tea comes in.
  2. You can get an instant dose of energy anywhere by having this tea. The sugars in this will make your body active and refreshed.
  3. The taste of this tea is very refreshing and pleasing. It does revitalize my sense. Especially when it is hot outside, it is a great drink to cool your body.
  4. It is rich in antioxidants like any other green tea. I will mention the details of its nutritional content below.
  5. When I feel tired and dull, this tea helps me significantly to raise my energy level.
  6. Ginseng is good to boost your immune system. If you are suffering from a cold or flu, green tea with ginseng and honey can help. Make sure to have it at a lukewarm temperature.
  7. It can help you lose weight. But, go for the sugar-free version of Arizona Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey.
  8. If you are into sports or something that demands energy, this tea will be very effective.
  9. Arizona Green Tea also contains Vitamin C. It fights harmful free radicals and protects the body from diseases. Vitamin C here also helps in preventing cellular damage.
  10. Some other benefits of green tea are it helps in cancer prevention, joint pain, and depression by increasing mental alertness.

I have mentioned the nutritional benefits below so that you can have a better understanding.

Nutritional Content

I am taking the serving size to be 240 ml. All the values below are per serving.

  • Calories – 70 Kilo Calories
  • Calories from Fat – 0
  • Saturated Fat – 0
  • Trans Fat – 0
  • Cholesterol – 0
  • Sodium – 10 milligram

  • Vitamin C – 15 Milligram
  • Protein – 0

Nutrition-wise, the tea has a good amount of Vitamin C and Carbohydrates. Also, it has no cholesterol and trans fat, which is again a positive thing.

One serving of 240 ml can easily give you 70 Kcal of energy. You can carry it with you in a small container and have it anytime to feel rejuvenated.

Ingredients

Premium brewed green tea with filtered water, glucose-fructose syrup (High Fructose Corn Syrup), natural flavors, citric acid, honey, ascorbic acid, ginseng extract.

Usage Instructions

Arizona Green Tea is available in powder or tea bag form and liquid form. You can go for either of them.

I always go for the liquid one as I love the bottle or container in which this tea is packed. The container is very durable and is easy to store.

Dosage

I prefer to take it two times a day when I am involved in energy-demanding sports. If you are doing anything that requires high energy, have this tea one time in the morning and at night.

I am repeating here about its sugar content. It is high in sugar, so be very careful. Decide your dose accordingly.

The recommended dose for weight loss is anywhere from 2 to 3 cups a day. But, I tried it and did not find any significant results. Maybe because of the high sugar content.

You need to know about the side effects of this one. It does not show adverse effects on people generally, but it keeps the points in mind as a precaution.

Side Effects

If you have diabetes or do not want your blood sugar level to rise, avoid the use of Arizona Green tea.

This tea has Ginseng extracts in it, which might cause nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and discomfort sometimes.

Pregnant women should avoid the use of this tea because of Ginseng extracts. If you still want to try, consult your physician first.

It might cause acid reflux when taken empty stomach. So take care while doing that.

Where to buy

For some time, it was tough to find Arizona green tea in local markets in stores. Fortunately, they’ve become available in the online world, so you can now easily order them from the most popular online stores. My favorite online store is Amazon, of course:

Conclusion

So to summarize my review, I will say that I am a happy consumer of Arizona Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey. But, I am not a very regular consumer.

On a warm day or while you are fatigued and exhausted, this tea will sure work wonders in giving you instant energy. But otherwise, the high sugar content turns me off big time.

I will certainly not recommend its daily and long-term usage. It might cause some unwanted health ailments. But, you can enjoy this refreshing drink once in a while.

THE POWDERED STIX VERSION (without added sugars)

Arizona Green Tea Powder Stix

This is a much healthier choice as most stix (powder) versions of this tea are without added sugars and zero-calorie nutritional value.

Be sure to look twice while buying this tea without any artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.

Benefits

  • This is a great drink replacement or addition for people who like to drink only water. It is a very rare soft drink that you can safely drink occasionally.
  • This kind of tea is recommended to people who would like to replace their soda drinks. Such a change in their habit could impact their weight loss for sure.
  • Another benefit of the powdered version in stix is that it is much cheaper than the bottled versions of this tea.
  • It contains Ginseng extracts, which are good to make your body and mind active.
  • Ginseng is good to boost your immune system. If you are suffering from a cold or flu, green tea with ginseng and honey can help. Make sure to have it at a lukewarm temperature.
  • Arizona Green Tea also contains Vitamin C. It fights harmful free radicals and protects the body from diseases. Vitamin C here also helps in preventing cellular damage.

  1. The powdered stix version of green tea with honey has Suralose in it. Suralose (Splenda) is a chemical and it will cause insomina and loose bowels. My mother and I have experienced many sleepless nights because of Suralose and finally stopped buying anything that had Suralose or Splenda as an ingredient. Splenda will cause many unwanted bowel issues.

  2. I find it crazy how the price has gone up 2 much now it costs just as much as a warm up ready pizza…almost 2 euros which i find appalling since back in the day they were only 1,20 or so.i hope for future references since they stated they don’t make the final prize but they can always say no in the end if the one buying of them raises to crazy prices. but for now it’s a no go.

  3. here in quebec, there is no high fructose in it. only raw sugar cane and honey. no crap but still 17g of sugar for 250ml. still only 1% of daily intake. i think our version is pretty good.

  4. Hello Cindy,
Thank you for a wonderful report on what is now my favorite drink which is relatively new to me, funny you should say it is a good antioxidant, exactly what I thought when drinking it. You made a statement about acid reflux if consumed too much? Well that may be true in some as I have trouble with acid due to eating too much sugars, but This green tea actually prevents or “cures” the reflux when I get the acid in my throat, I drink a cup of this green tea and clears up the acid. Thank you for expressing.

Thank you so much for your feedback on my review of Arizona Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey. I’m thrilled to hear that it has become your favorite drink as well, and that you find it to be a good antioxidant. It’s interesting to hear that the green tea actually helps with your acid reflux symptoms. It seems that everyone’s experience can vary, and it’s great to know that it has a positive effect on you in that regard.

I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and personal experience with the tea. It’s valuable information for other readers who may be dealing with similar issues. If you have any more insights or suggestions, feel free to share them.
