The Best Weight Loss Clinics in Los Angeles, CA (2026)
Picking among weight loss clinics in Los Angeles is harder than the star ratings suggest, because the review histories here are short. The clinics on this page have between 10 and 42 Google reviews each, 107 in total, with ratings from 4.0 to 5.0. With so few reviews behind each score, one or two new ones can move a rating quickly.
Short answer
Medslim leads with 4.8 stars from 42 Google reviews, the largest review history on this page, though much of the praise is for its other treatments. The Shape Theory has a perfect 5.0 from 23 reviews and describes itself as a telehealth practice. Venuv Diet Clinic (엘에이 다이어트) also holds 5.0, from 11 reviews, with Saturday morning hours.

How a Short List Like This Is Ranked
Google's ratings, as shown
Ratings and review counts come from Google, read in October 2026, and we never edit them.
A thin list on purpose
We include only weight loss clinics with a Los Angeles address and a rating of 4.0 or higher. The bigger clinics a Los Angeles search turns up are mostly in neighbouring cities such as Glendale and Long Beach, so they aren't here, and review counts stay low.
Size of the review history
The order weighs the rating by how many people gave it, so 42 reviews count for more than a perfect score from 10.
What each scorecard shows
The scorecard on each card repeats the rating and review count, adds the share of four and five star ratings, and shows whether Google lists a website, phone and hours.
Check the license
Prescription weight loss medicines can only be prescribed by a licensed clinician. Before you book, ask who prescribes at the clinic, then look that person up on the California medical or nursing board's public license search.
Before You Book
- Who prescribes, and what is their licence?
- What will a visit and follow-up cost in total, including anything extra?
- What happens if I want to stop?
- How are side effects handled, and who do I contact?
- Will you keep my own doctor informed?
- Do I need to come in, or can everything be done online?
