Where the Order Comes From
Ratings come from Google
Ratings and review counts are Google's, read in October 2026. We never edit them.
Right kind, right city
Each business is a weight loss clinic by Google's own category, has an address in Asheville and is rated 4.0 or higher. One company appears once.
Rating weighed by volume
The order balances the rating against how many people gave it, so a long review history counts for more than a perfect score from a handful.
What the scorecard shows
Each scorecard shows the rating, the size of the review history, the share of four and five star ratings, and whether Google lists a website, phone and hours.
Check the license
Prescription weight loss medicines can only be prescribed by a licensed clinician. Before you book, ask who prescribes at the clinic, then look that person up on the North Carolina medical or nursing board's public license search.
Questions for Your First Call
- Who prescribes, and what licence do they hold in North Carolina?
- What will the first visit, labs and follow-up cost in total, and what does insurance cover?
- What happens if I want to stop or change plans?
- How are side effects handled, and who do I contact between visits?
- Will you keep my own doctor informed about my care?
